The Afro Latin Festival YEG is a celebration of the uniqueness of African, Caribbean and Latix cultures through music dance, art, education, and entrepreneurship. In 2019, the first ever Festival brought together over 5000 Edmontonians to rejoice, share and experience a multitude of acts ranging from powerful spoken word performances to high energy African drumming passing by a full Salsa and full Reggae band, and an interactive Soca workshop that allowed the entire crowd to feel and witness authentic caribbean culture!
